I am an associate professor of finance and vice head of the department of finance at the University of Zurich, where I also serve as program director of the Master in Finance and sit on the board of the Finance Executive Education program. I am a Swiss Finance Institute faculty member and associate editor at the Journal of Empirical Finance.

My current research interests lie in the intersection of corporate finance, causal inference and household finance. Among other things, I teach Empirical Corporate Finance, Advanced Financial Economics and Takeovers Restructuring and Corporate Governance at the University of Zurich. I did my PhD at the Stockholm School of Economics.

Check out the links for more information about the master in finance, the master in quantitative finance and our phd program.

My integration into Swiss society includes hiking, skiing and beginner(!) climbing.
